See just a few years ago, I was that woman too.
I was doing all the “things”: reading inspirational books, journaling, being out in nature, focusing on gratitude, praying, shadow work, trying to catch my ego’s triggers and re-direct back to love. And I did make some improvement.
I wanted to change my entire life!
At my lowest: I was depressed, had a drinking problem, was chronically involved with toxic men, constantly sought validation outside myself, didn’t truly know my value or worth and basically life was so painful I just kept numbing out with alcohol because I was so frustrated that I didn’t seem to be able to create the life I knew deep down I was capable of. But even amidst my vicious painful cycles, I never lost all hope.
I thought I had committed to healing and growth but I just kept falling back into my old patterns and behaviors.
She pulled me forward as my bad habits and old programming pulled me back. I felt at the mercy of a powerful energy battle within me. How long would this battle rage on? Which “self” would be victorious??
As you can guess, my Highest Self/Soul pulled me through. I finally truly understood, on an experiential level, that divine love was within me and it could heal and transform ANYTHING.
